We’re pleased to share a meaningful milestone in Sembcorp’s renewable energy journey — reaching 1GWp of planned and operational solar capacity in Singapore. This achievement reflects the strength of our Sembcorp Solar Singapore business and our commitment to supporting the nation’s solar deployment target of 2GWp by 2030. Most importantly, it reflects the trust and support of our customers, partners and collaborators.

From our early rooftop installations under the SolarNova programme with HDB to unlocking floating solar potential at the Sembcorp Tengeh Floating Solar Farm with PUB - Singapore’s first inland floating solar farm - our team has continued to evolve and innovate, reinforcing our position as the nation’s leading floating solar energy player with three floating solar projects on Tengeh Reservoir, Kranji Reservoir and Pandan Reservoir.

We’ve advanced utility-scale energy storage with the Energy Market Authority, and scaled up our installations of ground-mounted solar through collaborations with valued public sector partners such as JTC and DSTA among others, each step made possible through a shared goal of transiting to cleaner energy. The trust and confidence that these organisations have shown in us has inspired us to aim higher, deliver better, and stay true to our purpose of driving energy transition.

We’re especially thankful to our commercial customers, whose continued partnership has helped shape this journey. Working with them allowed us to implement the largest combined solar energy project in Singapore’s aviation sector, to set a new benchmark by successfully integrating the largest solar carport system in Singapore, to accelerate clean energy adoption in homegrown SMEs, and more. Our accomplishments today would not have been possible without the steadfast collaboration of our leading business partners, to whom we are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to grow and succeed together.
