Acquisition of Alinta Energy
In December 2025, Sembcorp Industries entered into a share sale agreement to acquire Alinta Energy and its group of companies. The acquisition was approved by shareholders at the EGM on January 30, 2026. Subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, the acquisition is expected to complete in the first half of 2026.
